Inspiring future generations of performers since 2013
From first steps at three to LAMDA exams and drama school auditions at eighteen. Family-run, in the same town ever since.
Kent School of Performing Arts is a family-run, performance-driven school based in Whitstable, Kent. Built on promoting children’s self-esteem and confidence through quality, health-aware tuition and careful and inclusive encouragement, KSPA provides inspirational classes in dance, drama and singing for children and young people between the ages of 3 and 19.
Our early years classes provide the perfect introduction to life at KSPA. Focussing on building an inner self-confidence, these classes explore an early introduction to dance, singing and drama taught through game and roleplay in a fun, friendly and nurturing environment.
Our highly trained team of teachers cover all aspects of singing, dance and acting technique, character and delivery in more depth and will work towards the school’s next showcase or performance and ultimately graduation into Shakers.
These classes provide a greater emphasis on freedom of expression and the exploration of individual creativity and flair. Vocal harmonies become more complex, dance choreo more varied and acting through script-work and improvisation is developed in more detail.
Nationally recognised acting qualifications from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, taught in groups of no more than six. Graded exams from Entry Level through to Grade 8, with UCAS points at the top grades that count towards a university application.
Our agency connects young actors and performers with exciting opportunities across the TV and film industry. We pride ourselves on providing a first-class service for casting directors, production personnel and creatives alike and our books are currently open.
Do you love the power of music and the joy of singing with others? Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just starting out, our Community Choir is the perfect place for you. Our choir brings together people of all backgrounds, creating an inclusive space where everyone can shine.
